are the ingredients in these products.

It is best to purchase organic, natural products that have not been tested on animals, and do not contain any animal fats or chemical preservatives.

The most dangerous cluprits in non-organic products:
Propylene Glycol, this is a chemical used mainly in cosmetics and in automatic brake, hydraulic fluid and industrial antifreeze. Ingestion and other exposures to the chemical can cause various symptoms. The type and severity of symptoms varies depending on the amount of chemical involved and the nature of the exposure. In skin and hair, propylene glycol works as a humescent, which causes retention of moisture by preventing the escape of moisture or water from the skin and hair. By avoiding skin contact with propylene glycol, you are preventing your skin from absorbing strong irritants that can cause liver abnormalities and kidney damage. Imagine all the years of having this chemical in your products, also some companies add this to their food.
Sodium laureth sulfate, or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES) are used in many soaps, shampoos, detergents, toothpastes and other products that "foam up". Both chemicals are very effective foaming agents, chemically known as surfactants.
Unfortunately, both sodium laureth sulfate and its cousin are also very dangerous, highly irritating chemicals. Far from giving "healthy shining hair" and "beautiful skin", soaps and shampoos containing sodium laureth sulfate can lead to direct damage to the hair follicle, skin damage, permanent eye damage in children and even liver toxicity.
Although sodium laureth sulfate is somewhat less irritating than SLS, it cannot be metabolized by the liver and its effects are therefore much longer-lasting. This not only means it stays in the body tissues for longer, but much more precious energy is used getting rid of it. Both chemicals are cheap and even when you are buying salon style shampoos and conditioners for lots of money, almost all contain these culprits. Sodium laureth sulfate found in soaps is exactly the same as you would find in a car wash or even a garage, where it is used to degrease car engines.
Mineral Oil is added to beauty products including moisturizing creams and lotions. It's a popular cosmetic additive because it has no odor, is inexpensive, and has good moisturizing properties. It acts as a thin layer on the skin and is very hard to absorb, which clogs pores and causes acne. When you have clog pores it then slows the skins ability to eliminate toxins. Once the oil finally absorbs it is broken down by the liver and passes through the intestinal tract, it then acts as a culprit and attacks all your fat soluble vitamins. It steals the important vitamins you need, and your body cannot replace them. Over time this leads to nutritional deficiencies. Mineral oil is the main ingredient in baby care items and is very cheap yet very dangerous.
